DIPLOMA IN HOSPITALITY AND TOURISM
(DHT)

Introduction

The Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism programme is offered in the Faculty of Science and Technology. It is a two year programme aimed at training personnel in the industry to provide satisfactory service to clients. It provides trainees with skills and knowledge and professional code of conduct in serving customers.

Entry Qualification

Category A: Direct Entry

  1. Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with at least three credits
    AND
  2. Advanced Certificate Secondary Education Examination with one principal pass and one subsidiary pass.
    AND
  3. Applicant must have at least a pass in either History, Geography , English or Nutrition at O’ Level.

Category B: Equivalent Entry

  1. Certificate of Secondary Education Examination with at least four passes.
    AND
  2. One year Certificate Course in either Hospitality / Tourism or any other relevant field of study from recognized Institution.
