Background to the Department
The Department of Public Administration and Management was established in 2008. It was then known as Office Management and Administration. The department which is based at Masoka Campus began with two programs of study namely Bachelor and Diploma in Office Management and Administration.
In response to the industrial and market needs, two years later in 2010, the name of the Department changed to the current Public Administration and Management. In the same year the name of Bachelor of Arts in Office Management was changed to Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration and Management; likewise in 2013 the Diploma of Arts in Office Management and Administration was re-named Diploma of Public Administration and Management.
